A Bit of Background

RLS Was founded to fill a much needed gap in the substance abuse treatment industry. Our goal to take a more holistic approach to substance abuse treatment. Over the past ten years the founders have noted that while there are some good treatment centers there are none that treat the whole individual, they primarily focus on only addiction treatment and not many of the other factors that contribute to the active addiction/relapse cycle. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is the prevalent treatment model across the United States and while this is a great approach to substance abuse treatment it doesn't address triggering factors such as client employability, job skills development, educational barriers, healthy hobby development, positive social skills development, social setting situational awareness, independent career development, or spirituality. By lacking in these many areas clients are at an exponentially higher risk of relapse. RLS’s holistic treatment approach would address all these areas and more in a 90 to 180 day in patient setting with supportive aftercare options and satellite services. Our goal is to graduate clients who are ready and prepared to join the workforce, pursue degree level educational opportunities, maintain healthy social relationships, have a greater sense of purpose, have a deeper spiritual development, and have the abilities to cope with and overcome any obstacle they may face after treatment. Our aim isn't to solely treat substance abuse but to also treat the many factors that lead to active drug addiction and relapse
